Draft AI guidance released for public consultation
We’ve released draft guidance for public consultation on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) by tax practitioners. The draft guidance outlines key considerations for practitioners in meeting their obligations under the Code of Professional Conduct and Tax Agent Services (Code of Professional Conduct) Determination 2024 when using AI tools during the provision of tax agent services.
The draft guidance is open for consultation until 21 April 2026.
